I first would like to wish all a safe and happy new year.

 

FMIU has a large task this year with finding ways to increase both law enforcement and private sector participation and possibly membership.   I sincerely feel there is a positive benefit to our combined efforts to continue with this training and information sharing opportunity.   We need the input from our members and it is my hope we use 2008 to put FMIU back at the top!   

 

Our next meeting will be in Jacksonville and we are going to continue the one day format for this meeting and again evaluate going back to 2 half day sessions. (Please express your preference). 

 

I would like to thank Captain Dave Bullard (FWC) for coordinating the February Training agenda.  I think this will be a very positive benefit to our attendees.  This training is inexpensive to your agency so please make every attempt to take full advantage.
